DOLCE & GABBANA model 4120 hit the spring/summer 2011 pret-a-porter runway like and elegant storm. The entire ss11 collection was etherial, white and off white, linen, silk and cotton. The biggest twist to the collection were the sunglasses. In fact, this model is a very interesting experimental blend between acetate frames, framless lenses and for DOLCE & GABBANA typical infamous black lace.

These sunglasses are one of DOLCE & GABBANA’s most interesting and experimental eyewear creations to date. The frames do not have lenses in them but instead two oversized lenses screwed on top of them. Further more, the acetate has real black lace incorporated within it.

More luxurious details are added to the shades: golden metal applications to the tips of the temples, as well as golden metal plates with the brands logo engraved in them. The front tips of the temples carry each golden logos. The inner right temple bares the brands logo again as well the country of production (Italy). The inner left temple bares the model and color numbers.

The right lense bares the authentication identification number lasered into it. This model was made in Italy by LUXOTTICA.
