JEREMY SCOTT smile sunglasses made by LINDA FARROW from Jeremy’s spring summer 2011 collection. This model was available in black frame and red lenses (depicted here), dark grey lenses and silver frame and dark grey lenses and gold frames.
The “smile” sunglasses were made in China and are not as sturdy as we expect sunglasses of such high price to be. One must be extremely careful when handeling them as they may scratch very easily and the screws that hold them together can unwind sooner then later.
The lenses are supposed to be out of glass and the frames are metal, lacquered in black.
The design of these shades, however, is brilliant and the “dead” face smileys are a funny twist on the pop art concept we are so used to see from Jeremy.
